at the stone-bridge creek
a horse and a girl sipping

butterfly farm
around our minds
all the way home

beyond all reason
the magpie hearing
a worm turn

arched rainbow
a hummingbird
stirs the blossom

orange trees
how sweet their perfumes
I walk-in under

how cute to see
sparrows on the bird bath
fight for territory

waiting for her
our champagne bucket
sweats with the ice

the pull at her web
fights and thrashes
of a butterfly

how vital
the bag of rice is lifted
above the flood line

pool party
her smile as Laurel asks
