grandma’s illness
her falling
unfit glasses

the assassin
of fresh waters
an old Pike

in river vicious kills
of its own kind

whitening away
all morning, but wait
the fog lifts!

Sunset cruise
leaning over waves of dolphins
heading out

cabin door
a tea mug warms
being alone

the jazz trio
our table for two’s
one request

river picnic
our shouts falling
from the rope swing

campfire smells
I draw my daughter
her Zodiac stars
