Pointing for the child
along my arm
the Southern Cross.

Cafe’ breakfast
stirring around sunrise
the autumn winds.

Holiday cottage
the sleepiness of tots
carried inside.

Spring returns
down from timeless journeys
the gypsy geese.

Country roads
bending into the stars
our motor-bike lights.

late dusk
the swings to moon-glow
the swing and I.

cactus plants
daddy pruning
my needle stings.
