without a bucket
a well dropped
stone.

midday heat
out of the stone well
tastes of the earth.

winter’s end
the plum trees bloodied
in hail.

Forest breeze
the sudden affinity
of a shared breath.

Cocooned
the stones of the stream
becoming ice.

Diamond necklace
how visible
is the woman’s desire.

Bedroom corner
by moonlight
the crowded spider’s young.

Web tight,
spider
feeling all the butterflies pass.
